Look what finally made it out of it's box after 4 years! That's right I bought this bad boy just after Josh and I got married and I am finally getting around to using it. I have a slew of projects I am excited to work on. First, throw pillow for the couch.

Helper
Anytime I am doing anything in the kitchen, Ellie wants a chair right by me so she can see and help. I love my little helper!

Ellie, you have something on your nose.
While Ellie and I were drawing Christmas pictures one day, Ellie snuck away and put a black sharpie up her nose.
A: "Ellie, you have something on your nose."
E: Points to her nose.
Into the bathroom we went to clean her up. This is Ellie's reaction to seeing the marker on her nose:
SHOCK. SURPRISE. GASP.

Hello, We Have Moved.
I looked at my last post and I am sad to say so much has changed! The first of the year we moved from Southern Utah to Northern Utah. The snow was horrid and cold. Summer, on the other hand, was beautiful. Josh got the opportunity to work at the same company as his father and brother. The commute into town gave them a lot of bonding time every day.
I sleep trained Ellie, weaned her, soon she starting pulling herself up on things and she eventually took her fist steps. She got two birthday parties, one in the north and one in the south. As the months went on, she grew. She stared climbing up the couches. Easter came and Josh and I got new glasses.
Family came up to visit, we traveled down to visit. Our cute Bean was the life of the party. There was splash pad fun and zoo visits. A new baby horse was born back home! Family reunions out in the wilderness and family reunions in the city.
Then a crazy thing happened. We moved far, far away from all that I had ever known. Much, much further north than I have ever been. Up to vampire country. Washington State. There are trees, moss, and a sea breeze. It is amazing. This place makes me happy. The only thing that makes me sad is that Josh can't enjoy the experience with us. He is stuck in a mall all day, every day. Doing an amazing job, creating a new life for us. Growing personally, operating a business, learning a new trade. I am so grateful for such a wonderful and hard working husband.
Since we have been here, we have changed Ellie's crib into a toddler bed. She has only fallen off once in the middle of the night and I have gotten her to stay in her bed all night long! Ellie has learned to climb on more things. The ducks in the pond outside our apartment still come and greet us every day. Ellie's new found joy in movies has brought us to watch, Ice Age, Shrek, Night At The Museum and Mary Poppins quite a few times.
